OCCUPIED PALESTINE, June 23 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces launched on Tuesday a large-scale campaign of raids and incursions targeting several towns and villages in the West Bank and occupied Quds (Jerusalem), during which violent clashes broke out and a number of Palestinians were arrested.
In Nablus, Tulkarm and Jenin, the town of Sebastia and the village of Kafr Qalil were stormed (where a young man was arrested), and the villages of Taybeh, Rummana and Arqa west of Jenin were raided, in addition to the Shuweika suburb and the eastern neighborhood in Tulkarm.
In Ramallah and Al-Bireh, violent clashes erupted in the town of Kobar and the town of Birzeit was stormed, coinciding with a settler attack on a house and the destruction of vehicles in the village of Burqa, and a raid on the vicinity of a house in Turmus Ayya.
In Hebron, Jericho and Qalqilya, a large-scale arrest and raid campaign was carried out in the Ras al-Aroud area of Sa’ir town and al-Fawwar camp in Hebron, and the Ain al-Sultan camp in Jericho and the village of Jit, east of Qalqilya, were stormed.
In the occupied Quds, the towns of Al-Ram, Anata, and Hizma were stormed, where clashes broke out in the latter, during which the occupation forces fired tear gas canisters.
