Parliament endorses Sayyed al-Houthi’s call to wrest sovereignty, break Saudi siege, demands raising readiness
SANAA, June 21 (YPA) – The Yemeni Parliament has endorsed a statement issued by Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badraddin al-Houthi, outlining a roadmap to wrest sovereignty and break the Saudi-led coalition siege that has persisted for over 11 years.
The Parliament considered the call a fundamental pillar for a political, developmental, and sovereign project, as well as a strategic vision to organize the internal front based on official and popular integration.
In a statement issued Sunday, the Parliament called upon all national forces to rally around “the Leader of the Revolution’s call to confront the comprehensive hostile targeting driven by the aggression coalition under American-Zionist supervision and Saudi execution.”
The parliament further demanded raising the level of readiness to face all possibilities and counter the enemies’ conspiracies targeting Yemen’s geopolitical, economic, security, and developmental tracks.
The statement emphasized the necessity of multiplying efforts to transform the relationship between the state and society into a productive and jihadist partnership capable of extracting looted wealth and breaking the siege through activating local production.
It noted that this call comes at a critical time, coinciding with the beginning of the new Hijri year 1448 AH, to break the stagnation resulting from the unstable truce status, thereby ensuring Yemen’s liberation from all forms of external dependency and guardianship.
