Sanaa government congratulates Iran on “historic victory,” warns Riyadh of reclaiming rights by force

SANAA, June 18 (YPA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sanaa government issued a statement on Thursday congratulating the Islamic Republic of Iran on what it described as a “historic victory” following the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to end the aggression and blockade imposed on it.

The statement emphasized that this event proves that the choice of “Jihad, resistance, and fighting the forces of tyranny” is the least costly option, noting that the principle of the “Unity of the Fronts” has become deeply rooted to build practical tracks that achieve sovereignty and reclaim rights.

On the regional level, the ministry stressed that the Palestinian cause remains the compass for the “Jerusalem Axis,” warning the “Israeli enemy entity” against isolating Palestinians in any upcoming confrontation.

In a direct message to Riyadh, the statement concluded by affirming that, in response to the call of the “Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi,” the Yemeni people—both officially and popularly—stand ready to extract their full legitimate rights and end all forms of aggression, occupation, and blockade by force.
