Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi congratulates Yemeni people, Islamic nation on new Hijri year
SANAA, June 16 (YPA) – The leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, congratulated the Yemeni people, fighters on the frontlines, and the Islamic nation on the occasion of the new Hijri year 1448 AH.
In a statement issued on Tuesday evening, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said the beginning of the new Hijri year represents an important milestone in the path of faith-based awareness and practical responsibility, marking a renewed start grounded in wisdom, prioritization, and the effective use of time in service of the nation’s causes and aspirations.
He added the Prophet Muhammad’s Hijrah (migration) represents a pivotal moment in Islamic history, offering lessons in patience, sacrifice, state-building, and social development, as well as strengthening reliance on God and following the example of the Prophet Muhammad in confronting challenges and building the nation on firm religious foundations.
Sayyed Al-Houthi reaffirmed Yemen’s position against the enemies of Islam and humanity — the Zionist Jews and their supporters in the West, foremost America and “Israel.”
He called for raising awareness of the threat they pose and urged opposition to policies targeting the Islamic nation, its holy sites, and its core causes.
Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi stressed the importance of continuing the Islamic renaissance project and pursuing strength across various fields, as well as building an Islamic civilizational model derived from the Quran and the Prophet’s teachings, in order to enhance the nation’s presence and ability to face challenges.
He also congratulated the Islamic Republic of Iran — its leadership and people — on a great victory against America and “Israel”, saying it reflects the resilience of the “Axis of Resistance” in the face of pressure and challenges.
“We reaffirm our continued readiness towards any escalation or developments in the current situation by the American and Israeli enemy that targets the region or seeks to isolate Gaza again, or any arena of the Jihad axis and the region’s countries,” he stressed..
The leader called for official and public cooperation in the country to confront the risks and challenges resulting from the comprehensive hostile targeting by the enemies against the people.
