IRGC strikes 18 US military targets in response to recent aggression

TEHRAN, June 11 (YPA) – Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) announces that 18 important targets belonging to the US military in the region were successfully hit during two operational waves following the recent aggression against Iranian territorial integrity, Iran’s state news agency IRNA reported, citing IRGC’s statement.

“During two waves of operations, the brave warriors of the Aerospace Force and the heroes of the IRGC Navy, in the early hours of this morning (Thursday), struck and destroyed eighteen important targets belonging to the evil US army in the Ali Salem and Ahmad al-Jaber air bases, as well as the Sheikh Issa air bases,” The IRGC said in a statement.

The operations took place early in the morning as a retaliatory response to the US military’s aggression against certain service units and coastal posts of the IRGC, as well as a police headquarters and the Bandar Abbas airport area.
