BEIRUT, June 10 (YPA) – A Syrian man was killed on Wednesday in an Israeli airstrike targeting the city of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon, in a new incident affecting Syrian civilians working in the area, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported
According to SOHR, the man had left Syria for Lebanon in search of work to support his family and meet basic living needs, before the Israeli strike brought his journey to a tragic end.
It added that the incident follows the earlier killing of two Syrian men in a separate Israeli strike in southern Lebanon, who were also in the area for work.
The developments underscore the increasing risks faced by Syrian laborers in conflict zones amid continued Israeli airstrikes and escalating security tensions in Lebanon.
