Lebanese resistance launches strikes on Israeli occupation forces

BEIRUT, June 09 (YPA) – The Lebanese resistance announced a series of operations targeting Israeli occupation forces and military equipment in southern Lebanon on Tuesday.

According to the group, its fighters engaged an Israeli Hermes 450 reconnaissance drone over the Iqlim al-Tuffah area using a surface-to-air missile, forcing the occupation’s aircraft to withdraw from the area.

The resistance also said it targeted a military logistics vehicle carrying ammunition near the southeastern outskirts of Yahmar al-Shaqif using a drone strike, claiming a direct hit.

In a separate operation, the group reported striking an Israeli military bulldozer in the same area with a guided missile.

It further stated that gatherings of Israeli troops and military vehicles near Yahmar al-Shaqif and on the outskirts of Tayri were targeted with artillery fire and drone attacks, claiming direct hits during the operations.
