Hezbollah inflicts heavy losses on occupation officers, including intelligence commander of “Ghafani”

BEIRUT, June 05 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation announced that three officers were wounded in operations in southern Lebanon, two of them seriously, indicating the continuation of border clashes.

An Israeli army spokesman said that an officer was seriously wounded when a “suspicious aerial target”, referring to a drone belonging to the Islamic Resistance, was targeted, while another officer was seriously wounded and a third was moderately wounded during an armed clash this morning.

Army Radio explained that the clash occurred in Zawtar al-Sharqiya when a reconnaissance force from the Givati ​​Brigade came under fire from the resistance, resulting in the injury of an officer who was airlifted to a hospital and the injury of the unit commander.

The incident comes a day after an Israeli soldier was killed and others were wounded in a “security incident” in South Lebanon, coinciding with the continuation of resistance operations in response to the occupation’s violations of the ceasefire.
