BEIRUT, June 01 (YPA) – Two civilians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Braiqaa in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon, Lebanese media sources reported on Monday.
A Syrian national was also killed in a separate strike near Sheikh Ragheb Harb Hospital in Toul, also in Nabatieh, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency.
The sources added that three people were killed overnight in Israeli strikes on the town of Kfar Sir in the same district.
Elsewhere, an Israeli drone reportedly targeted a vehicle in the town of Zefta in Nabatieh.
Israeli warplanes also carried out strikes on Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Choukin, while the village of Sarifa in the Tyre district came under artillery fire.
Earlier on Monday, Israeli warplanes struck the town of Burj Qalawiyah in the Bint Jbeil district, the Marwaniyeh neighborhood on the outskirts of Sidon, as well as the towns of Al-Qatrani and the vicinity of Al-Bissariyeh.
On Sunday, 13 staff members at Hiram Hospital in the city of Tyre were injured as a result of Israeli strikes near the facility, according to Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health.
