WARSAW, May 30 (YPA) – Mass protests were held on Saturday in the Polish capital, Warsaw, condemning the Israeli occupation and the participation of Israeli delegations in arms and security-related events and conferences in the country.
Participants raised Palestinian flags outside a defense and security industry event in Warsaw, chanting slogans denouncing the war in Gaza and the presence of Israeli representatives at European conferences.
The demonstration coincided with a defense and security exhibition attended by delegations and companies from several countries, including Israel, which sparked anger among pro-Palestinian activists.
Protesters described the participation of Israeli military-linked companies and representatives as normalization of what they called crimes committed in Gaza.
Videos circulating on social media showed demonstrators chanting pro-Palestinian slogans and condemning Israeli aggression, while police were deployed around the venue to secure the event and prevent clashes.
