QUDS, May 24 (YPA) – Former head of the Israeli occupation National Security Council, Giora Eiland, stated that the outcome of the war has become increasingly apparent, arguing that Iran has many reasons to be satisfied and asserting that Tehran “won the war — perhaps on points, but it is still a clear victory.
Eiland noted that the United States is facing as a “clear impasse,” adding that this situation has also placed Israel in a deeper dilemma regarding the management of the regional conflict.
In the same context, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham warned that any agreement with Iran would alter the balance of power in the region and would constitute a “nightmare” for Israeli occupation.
The remarks come amid growing speculation over the possibility of a new understanding between the United States and Iran, without directly addressing the issues of Iran’s nuclear and missile programs.
