Death toll of Israeli aggression on Lebanon rises to 3,089 martyrs

BEIRUT, May 21 (YPA) – The cumulative death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon rose, on Thursday, to 3,089 martyrs and 9,397 wounded, since the beginning of the latest Zionist escalation on March 2nd.

According to a daily statistical report by the Lebanese Ministry of Health, published by the National News Agency, the death toll from the aggression increased by 16 martyrs and 35 wounded in the past 24 hours.

The report stated that the number of martyrs among healthcare workers reached 116, while the number of wounded reached 263, as a result of 147 attacks by the Israeli enemy army on ambulance teams and medical personnel.

It noted that the Israeli aggression damaged 16 hospitals and caused the closure of three others.
