Four killed in Israeli aggressive airstrike on Lebanon town

BEIRUT, y 19 (YPA) – Four Lebanese civilians were killed and two others injured on Tuesday in an Israeli aggressive airstrike targeting a house in the town of Kafrsir in southern Lebanon, amid continued reports of ceasefire violations.

According to Lebanon’s National News Agency, the occupation’s strike hit a residential home in the Mahfara neighborhood, destroying the building and killing Ali Nazih Qmeiha, his mother Safiya Badreddine, his aunt Nazih Hamza Qmeiha, and Ahmed Sablini. Two other family members were reported injured.

In a separate incident, rescue teams from the Islamic Health Authority recovered the body of a victim from the rubble of a house struck in the town of Qana a day earlier, while search operations continued for another missing person.

The occupation’s attacks on Lebanon have intensified since early March, causing thousands of casualties and displacing around 1.5 million people. Although a ceasefire agreement took effect in mid-April, reports of daily violations have continued.
