Zionist forces continue ceasefire violations across Gaza Strip

GAZA, May 14 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army continues to violate the ceasefire agreement on its 217th day across various areas of the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian sources reported that Israeli military vehicles opened fire east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, amid heavy artillery shelling and intense gunfire from Israeli tanks targeting the eastern areas of the city.

Occupation forces also demolished several Palestinian homes east of Gaza City, while Israeli artillery shelling targeted areas north of the city.

In central Gaza, Israeli tanks opened fire east of Al-Bureij refugee camp, coinciding with artillery strikes on the town of Juhr Al-Dik.

Israeli occupation forces also blew up several civilian homes east of Gaza City.

Meanwhile, Israeli tanks also opened fire in Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.

Since the ceasefire (October 11), the total number of martyrs has reached 856, in addition to 2,463 injured, and 770 bodies recovered, the health ministry in Gaza said.

Since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023, the total number of martyrs has reached 72,742, with 172,565 injured.
