Israeli occupation forces arrest six fishermen off coast of Gaza City

GAZA, May 11 (YPA) – Israeli occupation navy detained several fishermen on Monday morning in the sea off central Gaza City.

Palestinian sources reported that the occupation navy forces arrested six fishermen while they were working in the sea off the al-Zawaida area in central Gaza.

The sources added that the fishermen were taken to an unknown location.

The Israeli occupation has imposed long-standing restrictions on fishing along the Gaza coast, while local fishermen continue to make a living within a very limited maritime area.
