Zionist forces continue ceasefire violations across Gaza on 112th day

GAZA, May 09 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army continues its violations of the ceasefire agreement for the 212th consecutive day across various areas of the Gaza Strip.

According to Palestinian sources, Israeli occupation forces carried out a demolition operation east of Gaza City, while Israeli artillery shelling continued east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Israeli naval boats opened fire west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Israeli warplanes were also seen flying over southern Gaza.

Since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, the total number of killed persons has reached 846, in addition to 2,418 injured, while the total number of recovered bodies has reached 769.

The total number of killed persons since the beginning of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,628, with 172,520 injured.
