Hamas: Settler attacks in West Bank are systematic crimes

DOHA, May 02 (YPA) – Hamas leader Abdul Rahman Shadid affirmed on Saturday that the settlers’ attacks and escalating violations in the occupied West Bank, which resulted in injuries among civilians in Hebron and Nablus, constitute organized and systematic crimes, and will only increase the Palestinian people’s attachment to their land and their defense of their principles and existence.

Shadid said in a press statement published by the movement’s Telegram account, that the settlers’ militias’ aggression against villages and towns in the West Bank, coinciding with the ongoing Zionist incursions, comes within the framework of a policy of collective punishment, intimidation of citizens, and an attempt to push them towards displacement, which the Israeli enemy and its terrorist government will not be able to achieve.

He stressed that the settlers’ crimes and terrorism will only increase the Palestinian people’s determination, steadfastness, and resilience on their land, and their adherence to their rights, which they will not relinquish no matter how much the aggression of the Israeli enemy and its settler militias escalates.

In addition, Shdid called on the Palestinian people and their active forces in the targeted villages and towns to strengthen the means of confrontation and protection, to mobilize, unite, and stand together to confront settler attacks and support the steadfastness of the residents in the areas affected by settler brutality.
