Israeli violations continue in Gaza despite ceasefire

GAZA, April 29 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army has continued its violations of the ceasefire agreement on its 202nd day across various areas of the Gaza Strip.

According to Palestinian sources, Israeli occupation forces carried out large demolition operations east of Gaza City. Several homes were destroyed.

Sources reported that Israeli warplanes were operating over the southern Gaza Strip.

Israeli airstrikes hit eastern Khan Younis in the south of the territory.

Heavy gunfire was reported in eastern Khan Younis. Helicopters also fired toward the eastern areas of Al-Bureij refugee camp.

Since the ceasefire on October 11, the total number of martyrs has reached 818, in addition to 2,301 injuries, while 762 bodies have been recovered.

Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, the total number of martyrs has reached 72,594, with 172,404 injured.
