RAMALLAH, April 28 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces launched a wide-scale campaign of raids and arrests across several areas of the occupied West Bank early Tuesday, detaining 24 Palestinians, including former prisoners.
According to Palestinian sources, occupation forces detained a young man after raiding and searching his home in Jalazone refugee camp, north of Ramallah.
They also stormed the village of Shuqba, west of Ramallah, where several homes were searched and property was damaged.
Five residents were detained for field interrogation, one of whom was later released, while four others were arrested.
Sources added that the occupation forces also arrested two brothers after raiding their family home and searching its contents in the town of Kafr Ni’ma, west of Ramallah.
In southern Bethlehem, local sources reported the arrest of a young man following a home raid in the town of Beit Fajjar.
In Nablus governorate, six former prisoners were arrested after raids on homes in the Old and New Askar refugee camps east of the city.
