TEHRAN, April 28 (YPA) – Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi described his meeting on Monday with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday as “very positive,” expressing appreciation for Moscow’s support to Iran during recent regional tensions.
According to Iran’s official news agency, Araghchi said discussions with Putin covered a wide range of issues, including bilateral relations and key regional developments.
He reaffirmed Tehran’s commitment to maintaining and strengthening its strategic partnership with Russia under current circumstances, noting that Putin praised the resilience of the Iranian people amid recent challenges.
The meeting came against the backdrop of heightened tensions in the region and ongoing geopolitical shifts shaping relations between major powers.
