Lebanese resistance targets Israeli enemy army Merkava tank, bulldozer

BEIRUT, April 25 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced, on Monday, that it targeted a Merkava tank and a military bulldozer belonging to the Israeli enemy army in the occupied south.

In two separate statements, the Resistance detailed the two operations, emphasizing that they were carried out in defense of Lebanon and its people, in response to the Israeli enemy’s violation of the ceasefire by attacking civilians, and within the framework of Operation Protective Edge.

In its first statement, it said that at 2:00 PM today, its fighters targeted a Merkava tank in the town of Qantara with a loitering ram, achieving a confirmed hit.

The Lebanese Resistance stated in Statement No. 2 that at 1:30 PM, its fighters targeted an Israeli D9 military bulldozer while it was demolishing houses in the city of Bint Jbeil with a swoop-down attack, achieving a confirmed hit.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon continues its operations in response to the escalation of Israeli aggression since March 2nd and the enemy’s continued violation of the ceasefire agreement.
