GAZA, April 26 (YPA) – At least 72,587 Palestinians have been killed and 172,281 others wounded as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
The Gaza-based Ministry of Health said in its latest daily update on Sunday that hospitals recorded two fatalities and 11 injuries within the past 24 hours.
It further noted that since the ceasefire declared on October 11, a total of 811 people have been killed by Israeli occupation fire, while 2,278 others have been injured. The number of bodies recovered during the same period has reached 761.
The ministry also warned that a significant number of victims remain trapped under rubble or lying in streets across the Strip, as emergency and civil defense teams continue to face severe constraints in reaching affected areas.
