Five civilians killed, several injured in Israeli strikes on Khan Younis

GAZA, April 24 (YPA) – Five Palestinian civilians were killed and others injured on Friday after an Israeli occupation’s airstrike targeted a police vehicle in Al Mawasi area of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, in a continued violation of the ceasefire.

The Nasser Medical Complex reported receiving five fatalities and several wounded following the drone strike on the vehicle, according to the Sind News Agency.

Earlier in the day, Gaza’s Interior Ministry announced that two police officers were killed when an airstrike hit a patrol near the Sheikh Radwan police station in Gaza City.

The victims were identified as Captain Omran Omar al-Leda and Lieutenant Ahmed Ibrahim al-Qassas, bringing the total number of those killed in attacks on two police vehicles on Friday to seven.
