Palestinian civilian killed, several injured in Israeli drone strike in northern Gaza Strip

GAZA, April 22 (YPA) – A Palestinian man was killed and others were wounded on Wednesday when an Israeli drone strike struck Jabalia town in the northern Gaza Strip, the official Palestinian News Agency WAFA reported.

According to WAFA, Israeli warplanes targeted a group of civilians attempting to remove the rubble of their home on Old Gaza Street in Jabalia town, northern Gaza, killing one and injuring several others .

The number of fatalities since the ceasefire on October 11 has surged to 780, with more than 2,193 injuries reported.

Thousands of victims remain trapped under collapsed buildings or on the streets. However, emergency responders are struggling to reach them due to a lack of essential equipment for debris removal and rescue operations.
