TEHRAN, April 21 (YPA) – Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Tuesday that the strength of Iran’s armed forces, including the army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), serves as a key asset for the country’s diplomatic efforts in safeguarding national interests.
During a meeting with the deputy commander of the Iranian Navy, Admiral Framers Bamani, Araghchi stated that the battlefield strength demonstrated by the armed forces enhances the negotiating power of Iranian diplomats on the international stage, emphasizing that protecting Iran’s national dignity depends on close coordination between military capability and diplomacy.
For his part, Admiral Bamani affirmed the determination of Iranian personnel to continue the path of those killed aboard the destroyer “Dana,” stressing their commitment to defending Iran’s security and national pride.
