TEHRAN, April 21 (YPA) – The Iranian negotiating team has no plans to travel to Pakistan at this stage, despite the United States reportedly traveling to Islamabad, the Iranian Fars News Agency reported, citing an informed source.
According to the agency, Russian sources have warned Tehran to seriously consider the possibility of a “media staging” and a “deception” scenario by the enemy as a prelude to a new round of attacks.
In a related context, an adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mohammad Mokhber, warned that diplomacy would only be meaningful if it reflects strength on the ground.
“Diplomacy is not a demand of the people unless it is an extension of the field and its strength,” Mokhber said in a post on X.
He added that Iran remains vigilant to ensure that negotiations are not used as a cover for prolonging the conflict.
Mokhber further warned that “any mistake in the opponent’s calculations will press the trigger of final deterrence,” adding that such a response “may go beyond the region and reshape future global equations.”
