Teacher killed due to hand grenade attack in Dhalea

DHALEA, April. 20 (YPA) – A teacher was killed, on Monday, in a hand grenade attack in the Murais area, which is under the control of Saudi-backed forces in Al-Dhalea’ Governorate.

A human rights source confirmed that English teacher Ayoub Saleh Yahya was killed after being targeted with a hand grenade after midnight in the village of Sa’da in the Asaf district, sparking anger and resentment among the residents.

The source explained that a close person to the teacher’s family, named Abdul Aziz Yahya Ghaleb, placed a hand grenade in the wall of the teacher’s qat farm, killing him instantly, while the motives for the incident were not disclosed.

It should be noted that students and teachers at Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq School staged a complete strike in protest against the incident and to condemn the security chaos in areas under the control of forces loyal to Saudi Arabia, the source added.
