STC commander escapes assassination attempt in Aden

ADEN, April 19 (YPA) – A commander affiliated with the “dissolved” Southern Transitional council (STC)’s factions survived an assassination attempt on Saturday in Aden, south of Yemen, which is under the control of pro-Saudi forces in southern Yemen.

Local sources said unidentified gunmen opened fire on a vehicle driven by Abbas Nasser Mohammed Al-Radami, head of so-called operations for the Third Support Brigade, who was not injured in the attack.

The assailants reportedly fled the scene, and their identities remain unknown.

The incident came amid heightened tensions and renewed accusations against Saudi Arabia over alleged security lapses and the return of controversial figures to the city in recent weeks.
