Unprecedented cyber breach exposes secret Israeli entity–UAE coordination

QUDS, April 14 (YPA) – A major cyber breach has exposed what appears to be covert coordination between Israeli entity and the United Arab Emirates, alongside a large-scale digital attack targeting key infrastructure in Dubai, amid ongoing regional tensions.

According to available information, the Iran-linked hacking group “Hanzala” carried out a sophisticated, long-term cyber operation that reportedly compromised the personal device of former Israeli occupation army chief Herzi Halevi, gaining access to a vast archive of sensitive data.

The leaked materials—said to include military maps, internal documents, and personal data—suggest high-level planning and intelligence gathering over an extended period, offering rare insight into decision-making within Israeli entity security establishment.

Some documents reportedly indicate undisclosed meetings between Israeli and Emirati officials, including exchanges within closed “crisis room” settings, pointing to deeper coordination than publicly acknowledged.

The breach also escalated into a wider cyberattack targeting major institutions in Dubai, with reports of significant data destruction and extraction, potentially impacting financial, security, and administrative systems.

Analysts said the incident highlighted the growing role of cyber warfare in regional conflicts, where digital operations were increasingly used to gather intelligence, disrupt infrastructure, and influence political dynamics across the Middle East.
