WPA wars of catastrophic starvation crisis in Yemen

SANAA, Aug 5 (YPA) – The UN World Food Program (WFP) warned of escalating the coalition’s air attacks against the vital port of Hodeidah would led to the world’s catastrophic hunger crisis in Yemen, in statement said.

WFP affirmed escalating the coalition’s military operation that interrupted the access food and medicine supplies to the port.

It said that the coalition forced more than 18 million people to flee their homes and 75 percent of the population dependent upon international aid.

It stressed on the importance of access the humanitarian aid to all ports in Yemen without any interruption for delivering vital supplies such as food and fuel.
