Armed attack hits Israeli restaurant in Munich

BERLIN, April 11 (YPA) – German police announced on Friday that they have launched an investigation following an incident targeting a restaurant in Munich. Preliminary reports indicate no injuries, while the extent of the damage remains unclear.

Authorities received a report at 12:45 a.m. of three explosions near the restaurant. A site inspection revealed damage to windows in three locations, with investigations underway to determine if pyrotechnic materials were involved.

A police spokesman emphasized the sensitivity of the case due to the restaurant owners being Jewish.

The State Security Service has taken over the investigation to explore potential motives.

The incident occurs amid rising global tensions, as the Israeli occupation faces growing international outrage and condemnation related to the war in Gaza and escalating conflict in Iran, which has sparked widespread protests and unrest worldwide.
