Three Lebanese killed in Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, April 11 (YPA) – At least three Lebanese civilians were killed early Saturday in a series of Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon.

Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on Lebanon starting at dawn on Saturday, killing three people, Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported.

A residential building in the town of Mefdoun in the southern governorate of Nabatieh was targeted and destroyed during the attacks.

The occupation army also destroyed several residential buildings on Martyr Sabra Street and in the Maqam neighborhood.

The town of Jebchit also came under an airstrike that targeted a private electricity generator complex, destroying and setting it on fire.

Another airstrike hit the town of Jbaa in the Iqlim al-Tuffah area, but the missile did not explode and no injuries were reported, according to preliminary information.
