Hamas warns of escalating Israeli occupation actions in West Bank, Al Quds

GAZA, April 10 (YPA) – Member of Hamas political bureau, Hossam Badran, warned on Friday of a dangerous escalation in what he described as crimes committed by Israeli occupation forces and settlers across the West Bank and occupied city of Al Quds, urging Palestinians to unite and confront them by all available means.

In a news statement, Badran said the prolonged closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the restriction of Palestinian access to the site form part of Israeli efforts to assert control and impose what he called a Judaization reality in the city.

He called for intensified “ribat” (steadfast presence) at the mosque and urged Palestinians not to delay in defending and protecting the holy site against what he described as ongoing Israeli plans.

Badran further stated that repeated Israeli military incursions into towns, villages, and cities across the West Bank aim to displace Palestinians and force them from their homes and land, stressing the need to confront such actions and deter further violations.

He added that these developments coincide with escalating attacks by settler groups across multiple areas of the West Bank and Al Quds, praising Palestinian youth for what he called their courage in confronting these actions.
