QUDs, April 09 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces carried out a wide-scale raid and arrest campaign on Thursday across the occupied West Bank and Al Quds, detaining at least 22 Palestinians, including two women.
According to local sources, seven people were arrested during a raid on the town of Jayyus, northeast of Qalqilya, while additional arrests were reported in Nablus, where a woman was detained after her home was stormed. In Al Quds, the occupation police arrested a woman near one of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Palestinian Prisoner Club said eight people were detained in the village of Tiasir, east of Tubas, following house raids and searches. Palestinian security sources also reported the arrest of three children in Jalazoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah, as well as the detention of a young man at the Atara military checkpoint.
Further arrests were reported in the towns of Aroura and Ateel, amid continued Israeli military operations across the territory.
Meanwhile, the occupation forces were reported to have continued strikes in the Gaza Strip, targeting civilian areas with artillery shelling, drones, and gunfire, in what sources described as ongoing violations of the truce agreement.
