Yemeni parliament praises Iran victory, declares whole failure of US-Israeli enemy

SANAA, April 08 (YPA) – The Sanaa-based Yemeni Parliament praised on Wednesday a triumph made by Iran and its allies in Axis of Resistance, following their confrontation with Israel and the United States, asserting that Washington failed to achieve its stated objectives.

In a statement, the council praised the resilience of Iran’s leadership and people, saying it helped absorb initial strikes and shift the course of the confrontation, while enabling Iran to inflict significant losses on its adversaries.

The statement added that the conflict exposed miscalculations by the United States and Israel, particularly their expectations of a swift outcome or internal collapse, noting that the developments have reinforced the regional standing of the axis of resistance.

The council’s statement also called for heightened vigilance against hostile plans, while commending certain regional positions that cautioned against being drawn into the conflict and criticizing what it viewed as double standards in international responses.
