Sayyed Khamenei denounces US‑Zionist assassination of Iran’s security leaders as sign of weakness

TEHRAN, April 07 (YPA) – The Leader of the Iranian Revolution, Mr. Mojtaba Khamenei, condemned the “American–Zionist” enemy’s use of treacherous assassination tactics against Iran’s security and intelligence leaders, calling it a sign of weakness and failure following repeated defeats in direct confrontations with the Iranian people and their mujahideen.

Strength in the Face of Terrorism

In a statement reported by Tasnim News Agency, Khamenei emphasized that the blood of martyrs strengthens the unity of Iran’s defenders and mujahideen.

He described the Iranian Armed Forces as the “anchor structure” against conspiracies, asserting that terrorist attacks will only reinforce their determination to achieve sacred goals and rid the region of invaders.

A Life of Silent Jihad

Khamenei honored the late Major General Majid Khademi, who was killed in a treacherous enemy raid. He praised Khademi for decades of dedicated service in security and defense, portraying him as a committed mujahid who quietly safeguarded the nation’s vulnerabilities and capabilities.

Escalation and Response: Operation “True Promise 4”

The assassination came amid ongoing aggression by Washington and “Tel Aviv” against Iran since February 28, which, according to Khamenei, has targeted civilian sites including schools, hospitals, and mosques, resulting in hundreds of civilian casualties.

In retaliation, Iran’s missile and air forces have continued to strike strongholds of the Zionist entity and US bases in the region as part of Operation “True Promise 4,” with Khamenei declaring that the era of “unilateral strikes” is irreversibly over.
