QUDS, April 06 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation’s rescue teams announced on Monday the conclusion of search and recovery operations beneath the rubble of a destroyed building in Haifa, following a direct hit by an Iranian ballistic missile.
Hebrew media reported that civil defense crews recovered the bodies of four individuals who had been missing since the moment of impact, noting that massive concrete debris delayed access to them for several hours.
According to the reports, the missile struck the building with high precision, causing extensive structural damage and the collapse of large sections, leaving it reduced to rubble, amid the apparent failure of air defense systems to intercept the projectile.
The attack came amid an escalation in Iranian missile strikes targeting locations inside Israeli enemy, in response to prior US and Israeli aggression, signaling a widening scope of confrontation.
Meanwhile, reports described a state of panic and disruption in Haifa, as sirens continued to sound and large numbers of residents sought shelter, raising increasing concerns over the effectiveness of air defense systems in protecting the home front, particularly in northern areas.
