IRGC intelligence arrest five people linked to Mossad in Iran’s Azerbaijan

TEHRAN, April 03 (YPA) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)’s intelligence unit declared on Friday the arrest of five individuals in West Azerbaijan accused of links to Mossad and the Iran International network.

According to the Tasnim News Agency, the intelligence service in West Azerbaijan stated that over the past 48 hours, its monitoring and surveillance operations led to the identification and detention of the suspects.

The statement added that the individuals were transmitting information about sensitive locations and residential areas to hostile actors, with the aim of facilitating targeted attacks.

On February 28, the United States and Israeli enemy launched a new wave of attacks against Iran, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of civilians and damage to schools, hospitals, mosques, and other civilian infrastructure.

In response, Iran carried out an operation named “True Promise 4,” targeting Israeli positions and US bases in the region.
