President Discusses Hodeidah Port Situation With Transportation Minister In Sanaa

SANAA, Aug. 4 (YPA) – The president Mahdi al-Mashat discussed with transportation minister, Zakreea al-Shami on Saturday situations of Hodeidah port under escalation and siege of Saudi-led coalition on Yemen.

The meeting touched on the effects of the siege on the work of the port, which presents the lonely way for Yemeni people to import food, medicines and petroleum products.

The president stressed on strengthening coordination with international organizations in order to prevent coalition from targeting ports and airports.

Al-Mashat also praised efforts of transportation ministry leadership to overcome difficulties of coalition’s siege.

Meanwhile, transportation minister pointed to plans of the ministry for next stages.
