Iran sets 3 conditions for accepting ceasefire

TEHRAN, March. 12 (YPA) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian asserted that the only way to end the war ignited by Washington and Tel Aviv is to recognize Tehran’s rights, pay reparations, and provide international guarantees against any future aggression.

Pezeshkian wrote on his X-platform account: “During my talks with the leaders of Russia and Pakistan, I reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to peace in the region.”

“The only way to end this war ignited by the Zionist entity and the United States is to recognize Iran’s legitimate rights, pay reparations, and provide strong international guarantees against any future aggression,” he added.

On the other hand, Russia submitted, on Wednesday evening, a draft resolution to the UN Security Council calling for a non-confrontational ceasefire in the Middle East.

The Russian Permanent Mission to the United Nations affirmed that the US-Israeli military adventure is plunging the Middle East into further chaos, causing irreparable damage to infrastructure.
