OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, March. 10 (YPA) – The Israeli Ministry of Defense announced on Monday that it had received approximately 50 cargo planes carrying more than 1,000 tons of weapons since the start of the war on Iran 10 days ago.
In a statement, the ministry said “As part of the supply and shipping efforts to support the ongoing operations in Iran and Lebanon, the Israeli Ministry of Defense announced the volume of airlifts taking place since the start of the operation.”
“Approximately 50 cargo planes carrying more than 1,000 tons of weapons, military equipment, and various types of ammunition have landed in Israel during the past ten days and have been delivered to the Israeli army,” the statement added.
It stated that the shipments are being carried out in parallel with the progress of Operation “Roar of the Lion” (the aggression against Iran) and as part of preparations for the next phases of the operation.
In addition, it noted that the scope of airlifts is expected to expand in the coming period, according to the directives of Defense Minister Yisrael Katz and the Director General of the Ministry of Defense, Amir Baram.
