Third US Navy aircraft carrier prepares to deploy to Middle East

WASHINGTON, March 07 (YPA) – The United States is preparing to send its third aircraft carrier, the USS George H.W. Bush, to the Middle East to participate in military operations targeting Iran, Fox News reported.

A Fox News correspondent said, “A third US aircraft carrier is preparing to cross the Atlantic and join the campaign against Iran. The USS George H.W. Bush has completed training exercises off Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, and is expected to depart soon.”

According to the report, the carrier will be deployed to the eastern Mediterranean.

Two other US aircraft carriers, the USS Abraham Lincoln and the USS Gerald R. Ford, are already participating in the US-led operations against Iran, which began last Saturday.
