Iran deploys “Hadid 110” suicide drone into combat for first time

TEHRAN, March 05 (YPA) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has officially introduced the “Hadid 110” (also known as “Dalaho”) loitering munition into active service.

According to Iranian news outlets, the aircraft is classified as the fastest kamikaze drone in Iran’s current arsenal.

Key Technical Specifications:

  • Speed: Reaches up to 510 km/h (approximately Mach 0.4).
  • Range & Flight: An operational range of 350 km with a flight endurance of up to one hour.
  • Stealth Technology: Features a low radar cross-section (RCS) design and an unpredictable flight path, making interception significantly more difficult.
  • Versatility: Utilizes a flexible, rocket-like launch platform, allowing for rapid deployment in complex combat environments.

Military analysts suggest that the deployment of this “stealth-like” jet-powered drone poses a new challenge to conventional air defense systems due to its high velocity and precision-strike capabilities.
