Major peaceful rally in Aden set for next Monday

ADEN, March 04 (YPA) – Coordination Civil and Rights Forces (CCRF) has called on the residents of Aden and southern governorates to participate in a major peaceful demonstration next Monday at Al-Aroud Square in the Khormaksar district of central Aden.

In an official statement, the CCRF said the rally aims to demand justice for abducted and forcibly disappeared individuals and to highlight the suffering endured by their families, who continue to live with uncertainty and grief.

“The demonstration responds to the long and harsh ordeal faced by the victims’ families,” the statement read. “Mothers remain waiting for news to ease their hearts, fathers bear the weight of silence, and children grow up without their loved ones in unbearable pain.”

The CCRF stated that the rally aims to demand the immediate release of all abducted and forcibly disappeared individuals, and full transparency regarding their fate to end the prolonged injustice and absence.

The Coordination Civil and Rights Forces also called for accountability for those responsible, highlighting the rally as a peaceful, humanitarian demand to end ongoing oppression.

The statement concluded by highlighting that the event will be entirely peaceful and carries a clear message: justice is an inalienable right, and freedom is a fundamental human value.
