MOSCOW, March 03 (YPA) – Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, has warned that the world stands on the brink of a third world war that could erupt “at any moment.”
Speaking to the TASS news agency, Medvedev stated that while a global war hasn’t officially begun, it remains inevitable if U.S. President Donald Trump persists with his “crazy” course of criminally targeting and changing political regimes.
The Russian official emphasized that “any event at all” could serve as the catalyst for such a conflict.
These remarks come amid unprecedented regional tensions following the recent US-Israeli strikes on Iran, which resulted in the assassination of top Iranian leadership and caused hundreds of civilian casualties.
