TEHRAN, March 01 (YPA) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced Sunday that the U.S. naval base at Ali Al-Salem Air Base had been completely put out of service following recent attacks.
In a statement, the IRGC said it had carried out the seventh and eighth phases of Operation “Sincere Promise 4,” targeting U.S. and Israeli-linked sites through successive missile launches and drone strikes.
The statement added that three U.S. naval infrastructure facilities in Mohammed Al-Ahmad, Kuwait, were destroyed during the operation.
It further said that the U.S. naval base in Naval Support Activity Bahrain was struck by four drones, causing significant damage to command and support centers.
The IRGC statement also claimed responsibility for missile strikes on three U.S. and British oil tankers in the Arabian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, alleging the vessels were set ablaze.
Additionally, it reported targeting a U.S. military outpost in Bahrain with two ballistic missiles, along with attacks on other bases in the region, claiming that 560 U.S. military personnel were killed or wounded.
