GAZA, Feb. 26 (YPA) -The Palestinian Prisoners Media Office reported on Thursday that inmates from Gaza held in Ramla and Negev prisons are facing increasingly harsh conditions amid ongoing tightened measures and restrictions inside the facilities.
According to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Media Office, Gaza detainees held in Israel’s Ramla prison are enduring harsh and oppressive conditions under tightened restrictions and ongoing punitive measures by the Israeli occupation.
Israeli Prison authorities reportedly threaten detainees if they disclose what happens inside the cells during visits, and many are kept blindfolded for hours each day, with exceptions only for showers and limited yard time.
During Ramadan, prisoners struggle to observe suhoor and iftar due to the absence of clocks inside the sections.
The media office urged international human rights and humanitarian organizations to take immediate action to monitor their conditions.
