Zionist forces launch series of raids, arrests across West Bank

WEST BANK, Feb. 26 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces launched a series of raids on Palestinian homes in the occupied West Bank on Thursday, resulting in widespread assaults and arrests, Palestinian sources reported.

In the early hours, three Palestinians were reportedly injured during an Israeli military raid in the village of Kafr Qalil, south of Nablus.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, the victims include a 60-year-old woman, a 58-year-old man, and a 24-year-old man, all of whom were reportedly beaten during the searches and later taken to hospital for treatment.

Separately, the occupation forces arrested four Palestinians from Nablus Governorate, including residents of the villages of Salim and Tilfit, and the Balata refugee camp.

Raids also took place in the towns of Qabalan and Beit Iba, as well as along the Schools Street area east of Nablus, where homes were reportedly searched and ransacked.

In Qalqilya, six Palestinians were reportedly detained following incursions into the city from its eastern entrance.

The occupation forces were deployed across several neighborhoods, including Kafr Saba, Shreim, the Old Market, and Al-Bahri Al-Qadim.

They raided a building belonging to the Sa’sa family, assaulted a young man, and arrested his brother, in addition to detaining four former prisoners and another youth after searching their homes.
