Zionist forces continue to violate ceasefire, shell several areas in Gaza Strip

GAZA, Feb. 23 (YPA) -Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement on its 137th day across various areas of the Gaza Strip.

According to Palestinian sources, Israeli warplanes carried out two airstrikes targeting the eastern areas of Khan Younis, while Israeli artillery shelled areas in Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.

Israeli artillery also shelled the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City.

Israeli military vehicles opened fire on the Al-Zeitoun and Al-Shuja’iya neighborhoods east of Gaza City.

Israeli naval boats opened fire toward the coast of Gaza City, while Israeli military vehicles fired east of Al-Bureij Camp.

Israeli aircraft also carried out a series of airstrikes on the city of Rafah.

Since the ceasefire on October 11, the total number of martyrs has reached 614, in addition to 1,643 injuries, while the total number of bodies recovered stands at 726 martyrs.

Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, the death toll has risen to 72,072 martyrs, with 171,741 injured.
