Israeli shelling, airstrikes reported across Gaza as ceasefire enters 131st day

GAZA, Feb. 18 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces continued their violations of the ceasefire for the 131st consecutive day across various areas of the Gaza Strip, carrying out shelling operations, demolishing homes, and opening heavy fire on civilian tents on Wednesday.

Earlier today, occupation artillery shelled the vicinity of Al-Sikka Street in the eastern Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

Israeli warplanes also targeted an unidentified location east of Gaza City.

Israeli vehicles opened fire east of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, and heavily east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza. Fire was also reported near the Moraj axis north of Rafah in southern Gaza.

Since the ceasefire on October 11, a total of 603 have been martyred, in addition to 1,618 injured and 726 cases of recovery of bodies.

Since the beginning of the aggression on October 7, 2023, the total number of martyrs has reached 72,063, with 171,726 injured.
